One of my customers has spilt hair dye on a beige wool carpet. he stain is apparently a few months old now and the carpet has stained a brownish colour. I'm inclined to say sorry no can do but custy is a good one and has provided me with lots of work previously.
I have read on the cleantalk forum that Hydrogen Peroxide could be used to remove the stain.......has anyone ever tried this method with any success? If so do you apply the Hydrogen Peroxide neat or did you dilute (if diluted what dilution rate did you use?).
Any ideas would be welcome before I speak to custy tomorrow

some of the hair dyes give a guide on .spilliage on the instructions if you can get that .you go the website to the company involved and ask for there advice, and they will tell you the best method for removal.peroxide can be a dangerous option .it can work but get the cust to sighn a waiver.as it can go potty depending on pile. use cotton bud and gently spot and wipe,

While people are looking at this topic, I would also appreciate help, an elderly customer I am seeing tomorrow has stained the back cushion of a flatweave G Plan Settee with dye from her hair. This has been over a period of time. (I note Sherlocks advice and will be asking for details of the hair colourant)
