so what is the verdict on these?? are they any good?

i do a fair bit of powerwashing but hate doing tarmac and asphalt as it very hard to to them without leaving lines. Are these any better at leaving a level clean?

If you've a decent enough washer to run it then it should work well.
Minimum 15 litres a minute, 13hp, 3600psi for those rotary washers IMO.

personally i wouldnt waste my money on chinese rubbish, get a decent fsc from a firm like duel pumps or jet wash direct etc, you dont know what you are buying on ebay and where do you get the spare parts or get it fixed?/

well make sure you can get parts or get them fixed by someone if you are paying a lot of money, i go for the well known makes to be safe.

i understand u need a good qualitty one, but apart from that what kind of finish do they leave, are they easy to use, what surfaces can they be used on etc etc??

you can clean any surfaces with them which are flat.  just turn revs down on machine when doing decking.

like someone mentioned make sure whatever model you get that your machine meets its spec.

I've a couple of pro's and con's about the one i had

Pro's
you can cover a vast area alot quicker
no stripping
no splash back what so ever
less fatigue

Con's (and the reasons why i got rid of it)
you cant go right up to the edge you still end up going back over the area with your lance/nozzle which imo on a very large area can add up more time on a job.
Flat surfaces,means just that,they have a habit of ponding on slighty uneven surfaces,where's the water will pond on a dip and reduce the affect on the nozzles you end up going over the same spot again.

They scratch easy even if they are stainless steel
I had the 24'' one was a pain in the a**e havin to keep moving about in the van they take up a bit of space.
All in all,by all means get one,but in the end i bought a twin turbo nozzle lance and found large areas just as quick using this instead
