practically, with particular reference to carpets. whats soils do anionic and non ionic detergents react best with. what products contain one, other or both(double clean?) what are the advantages etc of each type.
ps has anybody used a product called cr2 by americolor as i have just been given an old tub. it is mixed with ammonia and the heat tranfer method used.

Careful, any mention of detergents will create an outcry from the solely MS members.

i love detergents. i think they work superbly are well proven and reliable. i have never had any problems with resoiling or people reacting to them.(except forum members!!) i do use ms but mostly for upholstery as the low moisture is spot on. formula 90 is a match for any universal ms cleaner. at 960=1 dilution how much residue could be present? say it take 20 litres to clean a 20 m2 carpet it works out if i wasnt to dry the carpet and left all 1 litre on my m2 of carpet it woul only be 1 ml. i may leave 100 ml in the carpet which means i leave .1 ml in the carpet. and this dries to a powder. 100ml may be a great overestimate.
