now i am on a roll after repeated slaggings, hows this to tickle your fancy. Give away something for FREE .it doesent have to be money, offer a discount on your services. give your client a report before you leave a job that you have done , example you have cleaned the carpets . give them a report on the condition of there 3 piece suite, or vice versa. and if you are an expert in a different field, give them free advice . trust me they will remember you.

i perhaps worded that slightly incorectly.you are right it is much the same,delete the word money and give away a discount, which must have value.to the customer. the item should cost little to you.

everything is worth trying . but if you are fixed i the way you work then you end up trying nothing , nothing ventured nothing gained. if it does not work what has it cost .pennies. and you still own the product. good on and may god make you ;lucky

I give away spotter too........ for £4.99 because my customers pay for 1001 and Vanish crap, they are happy to get rid of them and spend their money on something that works. The bottle has my own lables and phone number and I am always being called for a repeat order, so I get the sale on the spotter and the customer keeps me in mind. I also ask them for repeat business when they ring and referrals.
