Open top ladders
« on: April 24, 2005, 09:19:07 pm »
Hi All

Just return from a very nice weekend in Belgium.

Had a walk around the town (Brugge), and came by a local lad window cleaning.
Had a long conversation with the guy. He said he has more work than he know what to do with.

Has a good standard of living a really enjoys his job.

The tools he uses are the same as us here in the UK (no surprise).
But his small A frame and big ladders were open ended pointed ladders. They tappered ta the top but did not meet in the middle. This struck me as odd as I had not seen them before.

Any here come by this type of ladder???

Best regards

Sunshine

Probably just like all the other EEC Directives and are only applied here, probably only meant for here in the first place!
