standard hose is bulky and weight is high, catches on more stuff.
microbore is smaller weighs less and is easier to handle IMO

I would recommend 8mm as the flow seems to be worse with 6mm

you can fit more microbore on a standard reel than garden hose.. easily 2 times as much, which means you can go further from the van,trolly etc.
