making spotter bottles

hi,

just wondering what you's use to attach the lables to the bottles so there secure and waterproof.

tried a search but can't find what am looking for.

rymans
A4 labels 25 in a pack
cut into 4 (postcard size) =100 labels
print out
stick on
then sticky back plastic over top.
bit of a polava but works well.

My local vinyl sign guy runs me off printed stickers per metre .Peel em off stick em on,waterproof.
Obviously the smaller the sticker the more you get per mtr.

well am just experimenting at the min but with my lables there just made from paper as i just done them myself and printed them off. i just protected them with sticky back plastic now just need to get them on the bottles. but just might end up buying then from a shop too.

if you make the sticky back plastic 1 cm bigger than the label all round! tadaaaaaa, it'll stick on and be waterproof. i really do deserve a blue peter badge now. ;D

heres the one so far

Description:      Self adhesive labels on rolls 150mm x 100mm, digitally
printed full colour on a
                        gloss white polypropylene and overlaminated with a
clear film. Permanent adhesive.


Quantity:           a)     1,000 labels
                        b)     2,000 labels


Price:               a)      £198.00 the lot
                       b)      £253.00 the lot


Delivery:             1 week



All prices quoted include delivery but are subject to VAT

Artwork to be supplied as a high resolution pdf file set to size with 3mm of
bleed and all fonts saved as outlines.

works out @ 20p per label for 1000
or 12p per label for 2000

i'll see what i get from others then engage them in a bidding war ;D

Its about £30 per metre, its approx 600mm wide.Get in touch with whoever does your van stickers they should be able to scan or email your details then print onto vinyl then cut out ready to peel of sheet as you need them.

i checked them first, limited weather proof, not sure what that means but doesn't sound good. they'll be stored under the sink most likely so need to be totally waterproof.
