Ok I can help you here.

Firstly I must say I absolutely HATE doing them.

Importantly: It's an inside job so pick a cool cloudy day...hot and sunny and you'll cook and run a risk of retina damage.

Forget about poling from the ground as it seriously just doesn't work. You have to up there on a set of steps with your squeegee...take no notice of people who say you can rag it...if you do the end result is generally a smeary mess!

Start at the highest point and work downwards one panel at a time (involves lots of step moves...and the steps have to be positioned just-so each time as you're working upside down).

Ensure that ALL furniture etc is cleared before you arrive...and if you have to do it charge extra!

Lastly: It's a backbreaking horrible job so charge well. I generally charge £25ish ph for straightforward run-of-the-mill window cleans. Did a big inside cons last week (took 2 hours)...charged £80 and felt at the end I'd earned every penny!

At least double the outside and i mean at least,i do these every now and again and there neck breakers. If there poly carb there easier than glass because with glass every mark will show up,a step ladder is also easier to use when cleaning these. If it was going to take me half a morning to do i would charge a whole morning and if was going to take me half a day i would charge a whole day if you see what i mean,if they argue about the price let them do it it`ll make them realise why you quoted what you did.

NWH is right...at least double. The only reason I didn't double-up was because it was for one of my better long-standing accounts.

I to only reduce the price if it`s a long standing good payer,i would never do these as 1 off`s.
