« on: April 19, 2009, 07:45:09 pm »
hi everyone,
A few weeks ago after getting fed up with going through endless bags of resin using my di van mounted system i decided to check my tap water.

was alarmed to find out that it was a 280 ppm after being a about 180 ppm usually.

have decided therefore to get a ro system not bought it yet however.

then checked my water again just now and its at 97 ppm today.

is it usual to jump up and down so much or are there other factors that are causing this a bit mifed t be honest.
does anyone no the answer please :)

it is very common for the water companys to borrow water from other companys from other areas, and the tds will be diffrent, more so in the summer

Mine goes up and down quite alot, usally between 370 to 429.

I do belive the TDS usally comes down in hot weather like today but my RO water normaly rises lol i have bad pressure and flow etc.

So i persume its come down because of the weather test again on a cold dull day you may find it has risen again
