curved glass
« on: April 06, 2009, 03:58:45 pm »
Any suggestions on cleaning curved glass.
each pane is 15ft tall about 6ft wide and need to be cleaned internally without taking feet off the floor, strictly no ladders/steps.
tried a swivel squeegee going straight lines from one side to the other but they look awful.
These windows are in a resaurant and need to be spot on. ??? ???

I would try a really large squeegie channel that way it would be less strokes

I do a chippie with curved glass, I squeegee across and wipe the the blade between strokes, not ideal if you're 15 feet away but will give a good finish

any kind of angle- which we normaly have a trailing edge to release water at the top instead of at the bottom- will result in a gap because of the curve.

If you do figure it out tell us.
