i do not use any weedkiller after the job because someone on here said you need a certificate to to it but i do suggest to customers it helps to preveny weeds in the future and those that do put it down their drives stay nice longer. the reason i suggest the sodium chloride is because it is cheap to buy and easy to put down .

I have mentioned this i a previous post, if you haven't got a PA1 and a PA6A you are breaking the law by applying weed killers to customers drives, even if it is by watering can, if you have a problem your insurance wont be valid, plus you could get a big fine from the Environment Agency and Health & Safety...

Do you need these certificates for spraying the likes of pathclear etc,the weed killers bought over the counter at garden centres etc?Wouldn`t you need a certificate to buy it if it was so tightly controled like you do with the industrial strength stuff?Dan

The law on Pesticides states you can use it on your on property, if you use it on somebody elses property that doesn't belong to you you need to be certificated to use it, even if its path clear.

worry over boys, the stupid woman thought it was the weedkiller, the truth is its just algae cos her flags are always in the shade. i think what has made them so bad is having them jet washed twice a year, it seems to wear the surface off and makes them go green quicker.  i had a look today im doing it tomoro.  it should come off easy with the whirlaway and turbo.  crazy old waman!!! >:(

Next time just ask the manufacturer  of the product in question , they would put you straight on things like this.

Doff make the weed killer you have used.
