length of 45' ergolite
« on: March 08, 2009, 09:21:56 am »
Hi
Does anyone know, is the  original 45' ergolite pole 45' in length when fully extended or is it 45' reach ??

I need a new pole for a job. I think I'm gonna go for the superlite. I measured the height of the job using my mate's ergolite. If the extended length of the ergolite is only about 40' then I could get away with the 40' superlite as this has a 45ft reach.

hope that makes sense ?? !!

thanks

Ionics have always quoted their poles as working height not actual length.  I bought an Ergolite2 35ft and was very disappointed when it came as it was only just over 31ft. My fault I hadn't read the small print at the bottom of the catalogue page.

I believe that the original Ergolite 45ft is actually 41' 5".

Thanks Alex  ;D

Sorry, not heard of the durapole. I'm sure it's a good pole but I've heard so many good things about the superlite, plus one of my friends has just replaced his ergolite with one and says the difference is amazing !!
