O MY GOOD GOD
« on: February 05, 2009, 09:18:32 am »
Can you believe this?
I had a first clean booked in for this morning but the snow is really bad here in the west midlands so i've phoned customer to explain i can't clean in this weather and told him i'll book it in for next week.
He said if you can't be bothered to come today don't bother at all and put the phone down on me.
I am raging as it's about 5 to 6 inches deep and can't move my van. I feel like knocking on his door and when he answers ducking is head in the snow

Ring him back and explain 200 schools are closed in your area, and birmingham airport closed,... and to get up and down the estate roads would be lethal.

I'd wait till the snow thas and visit him.

Talk him round and explain.

Then don't do it for him.

No you don't want to do that!
Just print his telephone number on here and we will all call and offer a quote!
Tell us how much, we will add £40 to it
He'll soon ring you, or go mad with all the phone calls! ;D ;D ;D ;D
(only joking! ;))

Hi Tony

Glad you sold your van, bargain or what. I think thats what we have to do to sell. Andy as appeared again asking for details on another van, is he going to offer 3k again, its like rogue traders he just has that no. & keeps using it.

Picked up 3 new ones, 3 quotes in for others 1 £35 per clean six-weekly. Need a few more of them.

Just had a call about quoting for my own job with a comp. we sub to, that was embarrassing for them, hopefully sorted. Had another job where somebody cold called & quoted £80, we do it for £25.00, keep quoting at them & i,ll be alright, some of the prices some state on here for commercial, you,d have no chance, commercial is a lot lower than houses at minute & getting tighter.

Just going to do another quote now for big house in country if i can get there, met him shopping so not got details just directions, also picked up another at petrol station recently.

All the best

Gary

with an attitude like that , i wouldn;t bother going at all

I'd advise him to find another cleaner with an attitude like that, in the long run your better off without customers like that.
