Can anyone suggest a good spinner tool for cleaning tile and grout?

I do loads of tile and grout cleaning and i wont use a spinner it makes to much mess, i use a rotary scrubber with water tank and a anti splash skirt and a wet vac, cleaning tile and gtout is a bit like cc you need the cleaner to dwell on the grout and tiles to get them really clean, believe me i have tried everyway and this is the best way, plus you have a rotary to buff the tiles up to make them look as good as new. I have been a tiler for 20 years and this is a good market to get into, plus repairs etc. Good luck Andrew

Thats just a fsc with a vacuum port -better for cleaning your patio than your kitchen. As Sherco said you can get a rotary and with the right chemicals do a better job easier and with far less outlay. I use my carpet m/c with a hard floor tool but you need a rotary to agitate first

What about a hard floor tool and a twin speed rotary then you get the best of both worlds, You can scrub and buff

I have  scrub brush if im doing riven tiles or slate, and if im stripping natural stone floors i normally use a green scrubbing paid on my numatic loline machine.

Hi Sherco,

I understand you use Aquamix products.  Did you go on the PITT Training courses?

Also where did you get the loline from.  Looks a good piece of kit.

You say a scrub brush fr rivne tiles or slate, what do you use for standard Ceramics etc. Also when you say stripping I assume you mean removing existing sealers etc, any reason for Green over a Black Pad?  Do you utilise grout bruses or do you find this combination of brush and pad works adequately?

The loline machine i bought of EBay, and yes i do use Aqua Mix products and no i haven't been on that course. I like the green pads as i find the black ones a bit harsh for stripping sealant of stone floors and they work fine on ceramics, i also use a grout brush that is thin and used to really give the grout a good scrub i think you can get them of www.cleanstore.co.uk item ST11. I also do grout recolouring, diamond polishing granite, marble, limestone floors and that is a totally different ball game, i also lay natural stone floors and do a maintenance program for customers to keep them clean. I do repairs re grouting as well. If you want anymore info let me know.
