Hello everybody,
I'm finding it difficult to do the canvassing I need to pack in my currrent line of employment. Can anyone help out me with any work they're having difficulty in covering. I live in Nth Herts SG area. I know it's a cheek but any help would be much appreciated,
Thanks.

Hi Keith

Do you mean that you cannot get to either calling on customers or leafleting them because of your present job committments? (just how is that word spelt? - comitments)

I think just do what you can. I can't think of any real easy answer.

I'd pick a good middle class area where the houses are not to far apart and just leaflet what I can do in the time I have.

50 houses takes maybe 30 or 40 minutes start to finish excluding traveling time.

Or just canvass all around where you live.

I hope that helps.

When you do canvass, ask for the woman of the house, the men are tight!

We've found that when canvassing...you'll get about 2 jobs per hour...2 hours per night ...say 6 till 8...will get 20 customers per week...80 or so a month....of course, you'll need to knock a lot of doors...so what, no doesn't mean stop...it just means 'next ! '....keep at it...and don't forget, others will become customers too..just by hearsay or simply seeing you working.
Using this technique....we now have over (well over) 2,000 customers and rising...in less than 2 years.
