the other ( a caretraker at a local school) told me the window cleaner there , had been doing winows annually for the last 12 years , and as it was under £2500, it was not automatically put out to tender ???
i just want to know , how best to intoduce my services to ??? them ?

i do noty want to under cut , but with the way things are , i want to securre as much work as i can .
any help wouyld be gratefully appreciated  ;)

no.
as he charges under £2500, it is not put out to tender .
so he charges anything up to £2500, hope this explains better

Its commercial, price is king, under cutting is the way it works.

Ring them up and talk to the caretaker/site manager, or if you know a teacher there get then to put a word in for you.

All you need to do is put a standard letter together, same as you would do for any commercial contract, introduce yourself, tell them what you do, etc, etc.

It's always best if you have a contact name and number.   We do a few schools and they vary in price and frequency.

If you’re able to provide the service at a better price, and still keep a healthy margin, you’re not undercutting your running a better business.

Now you need to get in there and sell it.

Leave all this undercutting talk to the amateurs.

If you could read, ewan you will see i said "will there be any PROFIT in undercutting...

Not "dont under cut"

you are stupid at times
