that eclipse was in august of 99
i caught a 14 lb carp on the pole with 5 lbs line on it.My son was six at the time and it took nearly 40 mins to land it
i remember it welll we watched eclipse in garden then went fishing,spooky calm it was and hooked the carp on second put out,first was a tiny roach
