Might be having a new van off a mate who is moving to Oz after Christmas.
How do I find out what weight it will carry comfortably?
Its a Renault Kangoo 1.9 diesel.

The Petrol one is 560kg. The diesel is 625kg, however there are some longer wheelbase versions that have a payload of 800kg.

There should be a plate, on my dispatch it is by the driver's door which gives the weights.
Mine gives vehicle weight and total permisible weight, so subtract one from the other to find payload. It also gives max loads for front and rear axles.
