sealant on floor tiles
« on: November 23, 2008, 01:31:41 pm »
Hi all,
What is the best way to remove sealant from just about anywhere - I did a builders clean last week and it was spilt everywhere, mainly the foor, but in the bathroom the builders had laid on the walls & flooring ridged vinly tiles, I said when I saw them that they would be difficult to stay clean, then the sealant chappy who is a very messy worker left loads on the tiles, we eventually (well the site manager did) used white spirit but still looked a mess and as if there was an oily residue on the tiles, whatever I had used - about 3 different things also left the same marks.

I have another 5 houses to do when they have finished building them so would like to know in advance
Cheers
