Me again folks
Thanks for all the advice on my last post!!!!!!
I have gradually built my round up from scratch door knocking etc but started getting a few customers in little villages near where i work (saturdays only at the minute) they all seem the have Georgian and Leaded, Sash windows any advice on how to clean these well??
Sorry if this question seems stupid but you'll never learn unless you ask!

use leather and scrim and before you know it youll have arms like popeye haha

1 damp scrim then follow up with a dry scrim.

RICHIE:go to Wilkos,get yourself 3 x micro fibre cloths for £1.99p
soak one of them wring out untill nearly dry,apply to window and go around two full windows .By the time youve done two or three windows the 1st one will nearly be dry,if still damp dry off with the other micro fibre cloths and polish with dry scrim.LET ME AVE THE PRAISE IN CAPITALS PLEASE TEY IT U WILL LIKE IT,THEY WILL ALL BE DOING IT TOMMORROW

Its wet and dry scrim
Use a bucket of water with some fairy liquid in it.
Wet scrim then wring out nearly dry
Use wet scrim to clean then a dry (and broken in) scrim to polish.
Just wet enough glass so you can polish before it dries.

Leaded window's--- Use damp scrim to clean & buff up with microfibre cloth (dry) buffing up with dry scrim tends to leave tiny fibres on the glass!!

Buy Unger microfibre cloth's the cheap ones are crap!!!!!

Don't listen to GAZA i taught him everything he don't know!!
 

(how ya doing Gaza) Richie bear in mind it will take a lot longer on this kind of work so price according.

I use a spray bottle with water and windscreen wash, lighly spray and jut wipe till dry with micro fibre leaves them sparkling removes fly c**p with ease and no treaks

RAY:Iremember when I SPENT TWO DAYS AND NIGHTS TO GET YOU USING THE SQUEEZEE CORRECTLY THEN YOU FELL TO SLEEP,AND HAD TO RETRAINN YOU AGAIN.now weve got it down to retrain after teabreaks so m you must be improving.

Anyway Gaza i'm blading like a master now after your tuition but the missus was'nt keen on 3 in a bed!!!

As for the new work i've aquired---cause i know were it is--it's somewhere around here where i live.

RAY/;why use a expensive unger cloth,when 2x 65p cloths the size of an hanky does everything for a day,wipes down leaded glass cleans the sills,then soak it wring it out and it good for another day. 3/4 a week then wash in machine.

As for the oiling of my joints even WD40 won't work for me

Ray: My train of thought why use a more expensive piece of kit,when you can use a cheaper bit and throw it away {or lose it}
after its worn out {use cheepo doing sills only} save my scrim from getting dirty,use two three aday to detail.
