I quoted one the other day and she nearly fainted.  £18 was a good price mind.  Then she said that the previous guy did it for £16........................ wait for it  IN and OUT.  I told her he had probably stopped calling due to bankruptcy.

When customers tell me of some ludicrous price 'the other bloke' charged I always say 'Hmm perhaps that's why he's not here anymore.'

I'm not talking about people saying that old chestnut.I've noticed a difference in people at the work places there all worried and managers are looking to cut expenditure, and that also filters down to domestic window cleaning rounds.
Anybody who thinks they wont loose work are burying there head in the sand, its only a matter of time

Just my thoughts ,hope im wrong.

As a result of the current climate some of the big supermarkets are losing market share, as a result of the current climate ALDI are gaining market share ,
Swings and roundabouts. I'm sure that we all will lose clients , inc the big companies ie INDEPTH etc and their customers might turn to us as a cheaper alternative.

Yes I've lost a couple more this week.  I need to start replacing them.  I anticipate losing more jobs but I also anticipate being able to gain some too.

What you have to do is recognise that is a natural and inevetable result of whats going on and not get spooked by it.

We are losing customers and my wife gets really affected but I am more relaxed, I know its going to happen.

Its life, you just have to deal with it.
