How much room is needed for an RO system? Can it be drained into the surface water sewer or does it have to go into the foul? Was it a big job to fit it into a garage?

Just setting up a system myself and have bought 2 210ltr water butts from focus DIY for 23quid each, just split the pipe from your RO unit into each butt.

You can or have a overflow from one butt to the other.
