No smell,no fumes,it`s like milk, don`t know how long it lasts,i`m new to it myself, should imagine to up till next cleaning as it bonds the sand to the sides of the block,it`s that cheap and easy so i`m not bothered really.

hi again dan dan dan,  are you using wicks own joint stabilser or marshalls keybond?  went into wicks but they only had their own stuff, not sure its as good as marshalls stuff,    also  i know 1 litre makes 35 litres mixed but what if you put too much in by mistake, will it just soak in anyway or will it ruin the driveway?  was going to use a watering can and rose to apply it,  how much stuff per watering can?  it says 1 litre of mixed will cover 7.5 m2 of blocks??  is this correct?   you mix 1 part of keybond to 6 parts of water it says also. ??? ???   just hope it soaks in in case i do it wrong.   cheers,

Sorry been on hols,i use wicks and marshalls they`re the same stuff,i have a watering can which holds 9 litres so i use a  plastic measuring jug to add 1 and a half litres of  bond to a full can,i just lash it down and make sure whole jobs covered, done 2 jobs today, both had keybond after seeing test area, used ibottle on each job and charged £100 on top of each job, took 15 mins a job.I want to know how long it last,i have told custys it should be ok till next spring when another clean is due ;)

first keybond job done, used marshalls,    went on like emulsion, but dried in after 10 mins, the key is to sand it dead neat so you dont have any stuff on surface, just hope it sets hard, when i left itlooked great,

the job was around 70 to 80 sq metres, iused the whole 5 litre can of keybond,

had a 9 litre watering can like dandandan and used 1.5 litres of keybond per watering can,  only got just over 4 full watering cans out of 5 litres.

is this correct dandandan???? ???

it says on tin 1 litre of diluted keybond does 7.5 sq metres  but i dont think so!!

Thats right 4 cans per bottle,i race round the border to do a frame round job then start swinging can left to right moving backwards down job, that way i don`t splash up doors, borders and walls,it won`t make joints over 5mm hard remember so were there are curves or circles in the block the thick wedge shaped sand joints will stay soft..I done another one today and jetted a house roof to get the old roof tiles the same colour as the new extension ones, neighbour wants his doing, only the lower overhanging roof, they want to rent a cherry picker to do main roof as well, got to be money in that game.Dan
