sick pay

having to have a cartilage operation  on my knee   in 2 weeks, can you claim any type of sick pay of the government , i do pay my stamp and taxes
any help would be appreaited

Insurance is what you need as you are self employed so you have to cater for yourself,i`m only telling you what the inland revenue will tell you.If your off sick and can`t pay your mortgage the bank or broker will pay it for the time off sick providing you pay for that cover each month,some will only cover you for 6 months some longer but you have to pay it back in the end anyway.

Adminicle paid me out for a year when I was of with my broken legs. They are highly recommended. By myself anyway.

Stat sick pay you should be entitled to.
