Keeping PVCu in good nick
« on: July 13, 2008, 02:03:53 pm »
I did my own windows today and they get done on a regular basis, I always clean the frames and sills every time out of habit.

My daughter has been onto me for weeks to hoover the bits out of the tank in my trailer, so today I thought I had better do it, if only for the piece and quite, having a bit of water left in the tank, I did my next door neighbours  front windows and pvcu, I don't do them that often and its the only time there done.

We both had our windows, frames and sills installed at the same time for a better deal from the installer, however I noticed how here frames and sills were a little dis-coloured from the weather and no amount of scrubbing with wfp would bring them up as clean as my own.

This just proves to me that regular cleaning with wfp does keep pvcu in good condition.
Anyone else notice this?
