i do on a bungalow occassionaly. Just treat the same as any velux window.

I rinse on the glass with this one as i use a high flow rate anyway and the panel isn't see through.
I must admit to not noticing any difference.

Not that i know of. The only 1 i clean is south facing and exposed to the elements all of the time.
I do soak the bird muck 1st though and don't try to scrape off.

There are different types. What kind of panel are you talking about?
