I know you cant tell too much from a picture and with my eyes who knows what I actually see.

Anyway, it looks like a synthetic material.  I would imagine it wasnt an actuall skin.  If it is a skin then thats different but if its synthetic then just hwe like you would do for most fabrics.

You see a boat load of this type of style and fabric in San Francisco and it is always hwe, cleans very well too.
