The APWC does still exist. The difference between the fwc and the bwca is that the fwc is a government "recognised" "trade" association run by a committee, the bwca is a privately run acadamy wich runs the clear choice scheme.
whats wrong with the www.mgwc.org
the Apwc are poorly run in mmy opinion, after sending all info and my cheque i waited and waited and never recieved my membership any way to cut along storey short after about 3 months i recieved all my pic and certificates back, what a waste of my time.No offence dave
About £50 more for BWCA, but you will have to travel to do one of there courses after that I think about £35 for the year. FWC about £100.Contact them both for more info, being a member of any can only benefit you, more if you promote it to your potential customers.
