The swirl marks were hardly noticeable actually. As Simon stated, they are never a problem on commercials buton plain domestics can be very noticeable and difficult to brush out, thats why I only use the RX20 on commerials. They are even less noticeable since fitting he glides.

Yes I always prespray and at the momen I use either Prochems Pure Clean or Powerburst with either Alltecs Ultimate Master, Hydramasters Hydra-dri, or just water through the TM, depening on the situation. In this instance it was Powerburst prespray and Ultimate Master rinse, although I think I could have got away with a plain water rinse.

Hourly rates are a misnomer because the bigger picture may say that you have sent out £1000 of advertising to get 1 job or that at £400 per 1.5 hours that the machinery runs itself for free, or that your 'b1tch' needs jewellery every Saturday

The thing is I've stopped being embarrassed when it comes to £100+ an hour because I look at the investment I make with equipment and advanced training and of course all of the bits you don't see like no holiday pay and being on call to answer the phone 24/7 and think I put my price in and put my quality and judgement in and that's my mutually accepted price and how quickly I do it is up to me, what's the point of staying there all day and doing a crap job?

Back to the RX20, I used ours for the first time last month and did similar figures to the original post, bloody good bit of kit !  Nothing I have tried compares.

It was synthetic s no pros wit Ph, and I ave found that UM (Very diluted) brings PB down to neutral. Not teaching you to suck eggs, but dont forget most soil is acidic in nature and this fact alone will bring down the Ph of a solution. I wouldnt mix the two if it were wool.

Would you really spend £1000 on marketing to Commercial jobs.

Thinking about maybee you would.

As most of us are   mainly Domestic  perhaps there is more sense to aim for big jobs

Being in a small sticks town I was amazed  at the amount of carpet I found in a Unions Office that I surveyed the other day in our nearest City.

But then did I not read that Simon  said that the Commercial market was virtually a no go area for the small one band operato.r
Its not have a go at Simon week but I would like to know how you set about  getting contracts for cleaning cruise linners etc

I would be more than happy to invest in the equipment and the polish lThe Eastern European Labour plus training etc to fullfil such asignments
