High ph cleaners
« on: June 19, 2008, 08:36:47 pm »
Just wondering who uses high ph cleaners a lot?  Used Champion for first time today on trashed carpets.  Came out ok but was a bit weary of it, seems to glow in the bottle!

Hi m8 what i find is that until the carpet has dried you don't get a true picture of the results.
Not saying you haven't made a massive differance BUT its nice to see the results when dry.

Top job Dave, I also use Champion and am very weary of it but find it gives amazing results on "trashed" carpets as a last resort!

Nice work mate

Weary is right, make sure you rinse it a ll out  :o

Your right about dry carpets looking better (mine normally are when i leave of course!)  I see this mostly on suites if i go back for some reason later that day..

Don't get too worried about it. Have used it for years on fire and soot cleanups on some really fine carpets. As long as its rinsed well I've never had a problem and had some excellent results. Those blacks spots would probably respond to Citrus Gel. You can even water it down and put it in a spray bottle.

I tend to use the right chemicals for the job, and then you get a stubborn carpet that will not clean, so I grab the champion, job sorted.
