Groundhog I noticed you had a video of a gutter vac on you tube, is this a DIY'ed one, if so how did you make it?

I would also like other peoples experience of building a succesful gutter vac, maybe Mr H.

No Luke it was not a diy version, it was a guttervac that I hired out for a day from Omnipole. That was my first attempt at using it, I should have practised a bit before taking the video, I had the nozzle at the wrong angle in the video, so it didn't really do the machine justice.
I have not attempted a diy version, but I see no reason why it couldn't be done, and I'm sure I have read on here somewhere about someone making one.

Hi Mr Tumble, the gutter spike attachment is exactly what it says, its simply a spike which you rake the gutter with to loosen up the debris if they are compacted. It was quite useful, but I would say that Jeff's mk1 gutter cleaner would have been just as good, if not better!!

I dug out a compacted garden with the Mk1, rather than scrape it with a hook to loosen it all up (good if you have the vac)
I just started from the begining of the gutter garden and started to shovel it up, It came out in fairly long strips as it rolled up, some did fall to the ground but I was able to pick it up and bag the whole strip.
