When spraying insecticide do you spray whole carpet or just round the edges,if the is no sign of pests but client insists on spraying it?

I would spray the whole carpet Steve if its in one room, not worth mucking about. At least then you know that there will be no call backs if the prob occurs in the same carpet. It will only be another 5 mins, plus if you price it up on the sq then it should be worth it 8)

If I remember rightly you would have to clean the carpet first 8) 8), then apply. We would probably charge 60p sq ft for the clean and treat.

Hope this helps

What are you applying it for? First thing to ask , then get on the internet find out cycle etc of said problem why its there , time of year , lack of maintenance & so on.Then your in a better position to treat it effectivly.

most carpet moths live in the corners and edges of the carpet so is wise to

spray surface and underneath the carpet all around the edges & subfloor , if you

were doing more than one room you would need an awful lot of solution as you

have to make the carpet fairly damp for the solution to have any effect, so is

probably best to treat edges first then tackle the other areas if the problem

persists.
