Up to £1.33 here now.

If I was to fill the van (which I don't) it would cost £120. :o >:(

Its very reasonable actually - it works out around £40 a week for the VeeDub but only doing 200 to 250 miles a week in it.

with saying that there's 2 of us in it, tank of water etc and a screaming mad scot at the wheel with lead laced boots!

I did drive it easy for a couple of weeks there a while back and got 260miles for 40quid

Do you mean Gas,if so it`s about £2500 and the goverment pay at least half i think. It takes up a fair bit of room in the back and in some cases the whole boot of a car.

The germans are right up on their bio diesil and apparently( get it confirmed) your vw's are good to go on bio diesel without the need to convert anything. The way the fuel prices are going at the mo those expensive modec vehicles are looking a prety option.

how do you get old of red?
5 grand fine if you are caught with that, my old man fills his tractors up with it, customs don't mess about if you are caught you are in the s&&t severly!!
perhaps we should all buy vintage tractors and trailers, free road tax.classic insurance and red deisel dirt cheap to run ,just a bit slow getting around
Cheers Rich
