« on: May 25, 2008, 08:13:03 pm »
Ok I give up where is it hiding?
Thought I'd have mass oil change afternoon. Mondeo no probs, Expert no probs, Kangoo no probs but I'm damned if I can find the loi filter on x reg 2000 Transit 300 TD
Anyone know where it hides?

Hi Neil,

I would have thought Halfords sell them.  We get them from our local car spares shop.  Failing that get one from your local Ford Dealer.  The ones for our X reg Transit is the paper insert type & cost about £7.00.

Richie.

That's not the problem, where it is on the vehicle is the problem?

I think they have a paper filter located at the front of the engine under a plastic cover with a large nut on the top.
