I have - I had no experience of widow cleaning either trad or WFP I went on a WFP course If I hadn't I dont think I would have found everything as easy as I do now. Yes you can ask advice on the forums, but you cant beat actually being shown. With the course you get membership of Clearchoice for one year and an ID card, which is great when canvessing. Its not a lot of money - go for it.

Hello Jonah, I have been on it as well. You get lots of practice on the poles, as much as you want really, you can keep going up to have a go when they do the practical side of the course.
Totally agree with Jimmy about the Clearchoice membership as well, it's superb to take the card with you when canvassing & showing prospective custies, really helps to pull them in, helps to make you look professional.

Yeah, I went on the wfp and the H+S course and I highly rate them. Towards the end of the day we went outside and had a go at the poles against the windows of the BWCA. Good practible experience!

If you are new to wfp or thinking of getting into it do what I did and put a post on this site offering yourself up for a days work in exchange for some experience and tuition. I had 2 days with one guy and 1 day with another and learnt alot from them (trad, wfp and general business). It helped me to make up my mind and get into window cleaning.

I did the WFP course and the marketing course. Recommend both of them particularily the WFP course. It was about 70% theory which was very interesting.

Wow .  That's gone up a bit.  It was about £110 in December 05.
I found the course useful though felt that there could have been more on the practical.  However, it was only a one day course and you can't cover everything.  I suppose it's a bit like learning to drive really.  The lessons give you a good basis but the real learning comes in the day to day situations.  Although it wasn't "in your face" I felt there was some subliminal pushing of Ionics products which just about stayed within the acceptable.  Also, I felt the course was worth the money - just.  I suppose that if something is "just" worth the money, that's about the right area to pitch the price.  I suppose that's how we would price all our window cleaning jobs if we could read the customers' minds.   :)
