Web page design - any thoughts pls?
« on: March 26, 2008, 04:06:36 am »
Having website done at the moment.

As you can see I havent got round to sending any content to the designer yet but just wanted any thoughts on the design itself.

I really like the home page but the content page is not quite so striking for some reason.

Anyone?

Cheers

Si

It's always a good idea to use at least some your own photos of real jobs so that it doesn't look too contrived.
Other than that it's looking good.

Might run special  offer "free lesson with first clean"

I am very happy with the home page but dont like the following page (which will essentially be every other page of site) as much for a reason I cant quite put my finger on.

I agree with you Simon on the photo front - it is a case of having good enough quality ones of your own I think.  Maybe a mixture of pro and our own would look less contrived?

...Now just got to write the content for the whole bloody thing!

For written content have a look what others are saying - but then put it in your own style (dont pinch - some get grumpy)

Having long time experiance in domestic cleaning - what I find most ladies want cleaning at the top of wish list is Kitchens and bathroom - so maybe photos of a before - after.
