Confused?  Are you saying that Gaps is Ok and that other suppliers have had problems or that Gaps is the supplier who was having problems.

Gapswater only supply top quality products - its the other suppliers who have been having probs with inferior products.

If you're going to invest in a 4040, prolong the life of your membrane and buy a booster pump as well. Save you money in the long run buying membranes that won't last half as long without one.

That is what I thought tbh.  I got my 4040 from Gaps and they seemed very on the ball.  By the way, you may remember I bought the wrong booster pump (you said it was not powerfull enough)  I've now bought and fitted a clarkes CBM240e.  Works a treat and getting 80 PSI +.

Cheers

Nice one Andy  -glad to hear its going well for you.

If you really fancied it you could have bought a Grunfos pump (we bought one for our twin ro - big and bad!)

I think the one I've got now is more than man enough for the job !!  Optimum PSI is about 75 as anything more starts to give more than 50/50 waste / pure output and June from Gaps said that's going to cause problems with membrane in terms of life and maintanance.

I'm now producing 135 lts of pure an hour which is more than enough for me...at the moment. ;).
