peugeot expert problem

Hi,

JUST WONDERED IF ANYONE CAN HELP.. oops

I have remote central locking on the van, but its stopped working when i try and lock it.... but when i try to use the key, it seems to just spin round in the lock...

then the next time i try it it locks, but the remote will only unlock...

if you get my meaning  ;)

Sounds like the battery needs replacing in the remote.
I have two Dispatch vans and it is a common fault for the tumblers to spin
around in the lock.
Some days are worse then others but it always locks/unlocks.
You could replace the whole lock set around £100 (ebay) plus fitting.

it is either the lock clip on inside has come off or worked loose or your key fob is nafted

When using the key, you have to push the key firm into the lock and keep the preasure on as you twist the key. Other wise the key just spins.
