di cylinder
« on: March 10, 2008, 11:05:39 pm »
hi all

just a quick question.

have bought an 11l di cylinder and it came pre-filled with resin. i am taking that the 11l means that the cylinder can be filled with 11l of resin?

now, the cylinder i bought is around half if maybe 3/4 full of resin, should it be as full as can be?

You should only ever fill a DI vessel of this type about 3/4 full.  This allows for good flow of water around the resin beads.  It also allows you to give the vessel a good shake every week or so to prolong the resin life.
