We did try this idea out on a Super-Lite. However, 50ft of coiled hose takes up a lot of space, even when curled up.  It was quite heavy and because we stretched it so much, it wouldn't go back to its shorter length properly.  Kids loved it!

looks ok, could be a good idea if you had a fixed flow valve near the bottom of your pole and just enough curly hose to extend to full length, i wouldnt want to untangle it if it got in a mess though.

We used to use air lines like that in my last job, always in a tangle - horrible!
