Shurflo Backpack Problem - Advice Req'd.
« on: February 21, 2008, 06:13:57 pm »
Hi Everyone,

I've had a Shurflo backpack for approx 4 months and it has been great  ;D

However now when I am using the backpack - On setting 2, it changes speed on it's own, to setting 3, then setting 4, then switches itself off.  It normally does this within 30 settings of starting cleaning.  The same happens when I restart it.  >:(

The battery seems pretty good and holds the charge well - Other than it being posessed - Can anyone offer any advice / a solution.

Has anyone else experienced this ?

It was bought in the UK from Cleantech - So it may be under warranty, however I just wanted to check with you guys if it may be a simple fix......

Cheers Guys,

Dave.

After being advised by Tosh, I bought a new battery and the problem was solved! :)

I replaced the battery about 4 weeks ago, and it hasnt happened again.

Sounds like the circuit board to me. I had similar problems and sent the circuit board back on their advice. They sent me a new one straight away and no problems since. This was Sureclensystems by the way.
