Hi folks im working on my own at the moment , id like to have a two pole / reel system for the times when im behind or wanting to get ahead .
I have a 1000l ibc in the van with a 100psi pump , no variastream ( soon though )
so what id like to know is can i run two poles off the one pump and varistream or do you need a variastream per pump??
It wouldnt be often that i had two of us working off the van so whats my best option?

as NWH said you would need 1 varistream per pump, i have just got the new digital varistream and its much better i think. Pure freedom do pump and varistream for £150, so thats a good deal.
Thats a big tank in your van, plently of water for two man set up. You could always have two reels of 1 pump and varistream with a half inch Y peice in line after the pump before the reels, but chances are one will have higher pressure than the other when workign at different heights so it might not work that well.

i run two reels from 1 varistream and 100psi shurflo.  There maybe a small difference with pressure from time to time but as one reel does ups and the other does downs it aint too much of a problem

you can run 2 off one pump but.....
try and split flow equally between users.
as for the varistream it should work, but the setting would need to be turned up.
ideally, it would be better to use 2 pumps and varistream, but if money dosnt allow, then one can be used. 1000 ltr tank in van, are you doing commercial? if so, i would say you would def be better with 2 pumps, at least then, if 1 pump goes down, you can run 2 operatives off 1 pump.
