Insulated all my pipes with foam tubing and wrapped my tank and poles in various covers still froze solid and it didn't thaw out till midday, nevermind the ladder work kept me warm and i like it every now and then!!

van frozen solid outside right now,

but inside nice and warm, put small electric fan heater which turns on when temp drops, and clicks back off when room temp is ok.... everything is lovely and warm..

but i dont think it will be switching off tonight.  :D

Jeff-the foam tubing has been useless for me i joined it all up with insulating tape and it all still froze so it did't do what it said on the pack! lol I might try the stuff with the reflective covering on or invest in a small heater it will save much hassle!

Frozen up completely, even the water in the tank!

Just chalk it down to a bad week.
No point fretting about it.

It'll be warmer by thursday.
2 days flat out will pay the bills if need be.

Thats the way to look at it squeaky, this is not an ideal job in this weather you just have to take the rough with the smooth, it will be milder before we know it!!

Actually I've just been up to Wilkinsons and bought a 2000W fan heater for £6.50.

It's on in the van now.
Shouldn't take too long to thaw things out!

Yep froze up here too.
Took the hosereel inside but everything froze leading up to the pump even with blankets wrapped over it.
Last night of freezing tonight and milder weather for Thursday, but that generally means rain coming :(

I hope it works in the end.

It must be using some serious electricity!

Certainly did.
Only took an hour or so.

Started about 11ish and still knocked out £100 by 3pm.

Well worth the £6.50 in the end! ;D
