yellow slime out of pipes

systems was nearly froze up this morning , after turning pump on and off a few times and putting some hot water over reel all ok , went to clean first window yellow slime started to cover window for a few seconds
any ideas were this may have  come from

Interesting? I have found that inside my tanks are slimey, so I assume the inside of the hose is as well, maybe its this slime that came out released by the hot water, the colour I don't know but if you have a yellow hose it could be off that if it only lasted a few seconds.
Its all probablly wrong but the only thing I can think of. ;)

i think that resin can cause water to be slightly slimy so maybe this has built up inside the hose and was dislodged by the ice.
