hi,does anyone know what my problem is,i have a ninja and doing a job it kept on tripping has soon as i turn on the pump

Had the same today .Phoned my mate who repairs my machines and he said take it home and plug it in All ok it was funny trip switch on job Des

Turning on the vacc's will often trip, when brushes are worn, the only reason I can imagine a pump causing a trip would be water spraying or dripping on an exposed wire. Unless the pump has siezed, highly unlikely.

Could most commonly be the brushes or the pressure switch on a demand pump.
Less common is the motor itself (windings, armature/commutator(sp).

you pump is dead, buy a new pump, or a new pump motor, as one half of the pump is water the other half does the electric thing, so it must be the electric end thats gone
