My 3.5 year old 75psi shurflo pump box gave in on me for the first time ever yesterday. tried the most obvious things but to no avail. anyway, i havent the time at the mo' to mess with it so i ordered a new one from cleantech (my original supplier). they now come with 100psi shurflo's & a digital varistream, same again, all ready to go in one box.
Got to admit i'm a bit weary as there never seems to be a shortage of posts with varistream problems of one sort or another. I can't do with hassle, i need a system that works every time without fail (which is what i've had up to now).

So, i have 80m of minibore (8mm) & this (tomorrow) new 100psi + digital varistream. Is there anything i need to know?

Tony

Here go's
Ready made pump box from cleantech= 210 + vat
This includes 100psi shurflo pump, new digital varistream, all fixtures & fitting ready made up (professionally, including strainer).
Basicaly, you just plug it in & away you go, no messing. Plus the biggest benefit IMO is in winter you just unplug & take in house to prevent any freezing probs.
Like i said, my old pump box from cleantech lasted 3.5 years & did not fail once in this time.
Anyway, was concerned about pressure problems after reading so many posts about varistreams (maybe it's the older ones). i run 80m of minibore (8mm) & power source is van cig' lighter socket.
Well, been using it today & i have to use it at only setting number 1 otherwise there is too much flow! I'm going to try setting 0 next week as number 1 was actually a tad too much for my liking, & i'm not one for a low flow rate.

So far so good & it's a lot quieter than my old pump. ;)

I paid £160 for pump and varistream from williamson pumps ltd.  Very helpfull chap called andrew seemed to know his stuff and I got a free strainer and enough fittings for connection.  Next day delivery too.

I still need to increase the pressure tho as it is a too weak for my liking
