Have been asked to clean an empty swimming pool. Any body got experience of this work. We clean the sports centre on a regular basis they are closed at the moment and have drained the pool in order to have work done on the pool itself, they just happen to mention when the work is complete they ould like the pool cleaned before they fill it again. Any body got any ideas please

Hello, I have washed a swimming pool, I brushed the tiles with chlorine allowed to dwell, washed it down then pumped it out.

Be very careful with a steam cleaner on tiles, I'm a tiler and i have done repair jobs where the steam cleaner has done damage to grout etc, i would use a rotary brush on a pressure washer with a cleaner recommended by the tile manufacturer.
