I read about what happened in the newspaper today page 9 in the sun, hope you are a member on here.

Hope you are felling better now and the bones are mending.

Dont let these thugs ruin your life, hold your head up high.
they are in prison now and so they should be.
Most people are nice but you get the odd bad apple.

Chin up m8

Best wishes from a fellow window cleaner  ;)

This what is printed:

Window cleaner Iain Dewhurstwas beaten up and had his teeth knocked out as he walked home with a takeaway for his disabled girl freind and robbed of a tenner.
His horrific injuries included several broken ribs and he had to spend £700 having his teeth replaced, preston crown court heard.
The four teen thugs who robbed him were yesterday locked up for a total of 11 years.
Iain 47 of Blackburn, Lancs, said " I dont go out after dark now unless i am in my car."

Thats what is printed has a pic aswell. Annoys the hell out of me when people do this sort of thing. they did right putting them in prison.

thats a link to another paper about it

Thats shocking  :o
Will they learn i doubt it they need locking up for longer than they were and their names and faces printed in the papers  just because they are underage is no excuse
Hopefully the guy has recovered enough to get out and back to work
my thoughts go to him and his family
Again shocking

absolutely sickening to see this happen to anyone, the louts who done this deserve no quarter from the justice system.

I feel strongly about physical assault and I really feel they need to be on the end of a severe beating to deter them from ever doing it again.  The fact that it took four of them tells you all you need to know - cowards.

My best wishes to Iain and I really hope he recovers from this both physically and mentally.

Agree with you ther 100% 4 people one guy bang out of order uk youths need a good smacked ass when they grow up and the parents fined if they are a nightmare. failing that the adults should take a hard look at themselves to stop are youth turning out this way.
To many scum bags about IMO with no morals what is the UK coming  too.  >:(

bring back old school methods of punishment they would soon think twice then but we live in a nanny state.

more i look at that pic the more i feel for the guy, no way are my kids growing up this way. will and are taught to look after themselves, but to bully like this no way whilst I have breath in moy body.

I don't think there's a lot we can do - if someone could get his address I suppose we could send him a get well card or something but right now he probably just wants to try and get over all this and get back to normal.  I got a hell of a hiding about 15yrs ago by a group of about 6 guys all in their 20's and 30's all for nothing so I know how Iain must be feeling right now, I didn't get any broken ribs but I did get a fracture to the upper left cheek bone, 2 puncture wounds to my upper chest (they tried stabbing me) and a lot of cuts/bruises.

All because they wanted my watch.
