I am interested to know what procedure you all take when a customer asks you to clean their lounge carpet and suite. Which order do you clean it. suite 1st or carpet 1st

Definately suite first, as Carpetguy says wet knees! Also you'll have your dryer going (I presume) which will leave indents etc, so you'll want to 'finish' it nicely with the suite almost all dry and a carpet looking good with no crush marks from feet etc. Also dont forget debris from the suite can come off and onto the carpet you just cleaned ::) - so this really doesnt make sense.

Hope this helps :D

There are several occasions when you'll be on your knees when cleaning suites, unless you're only 3' tall !

Except your waterproof tarp and top sheet would prevent this. ;)

I do the suite first every time. If space permiting you can keep an air mover on it and it's nearly dry when leaving.

Suite first. Always try and do the harder work first. (Or the job you dislike most first before doing the bit you enjoy.)

If you clean the suite, then the carpet, you won't need a cover !
