Hello Sir-Madam can i leave you one of my window cleaning leaflets,i`m cleaning in the area and was wondering whether anyone else required a window cleaner. The chances are if they like the look of you they will at least ask you to quote and more often than not you get jobs on the spot.
be straight to the point and freindly with it, something like this.

KNOCK KNOCK

Hello there I am from window washers, we clean window in this area and are expanding in this road, do you have a window cleaner at the moment?
if they say yes: ok sry to have troubled you, this is our card incase you ever need our services.

if no: we are giving quotes today would you like a quote for your house~?

either way you will get an answer.

if no give a card.

if yes quote and book.

I tended to think on my feet when I used to do door knocking but hope this helps a little, always smile and look clean and tidy, do not wear a suit.

That makes sense to me ww well thought out :)

You don't want your windows cleaned? OK sorry to have troubled you. By the way, do you fancy a quick one before the old man gets home?

For those of you who think this is a joke then you never met my mate Steve who I started window cleaning with 35 years ago.
